GENERAL INFORMATION
Instructors are contracted on a per class basis. Minimum number of students for a class is 4. Class begins when 4 students have signed up and paid all fees. Full payment is due on or before 1st class. Please call Divine Inspirations Bookstore to sign up for class. Payment can be made with a credit card, check, money order, or cash. Checks should be made out to Divine Inspirations Bookstore and sent to 217 Franklin Avenue, Nutley, NJ 07110 at least 1 week before start of class. Or you may stop by in person to handle the transaction.

The day of class please sign-in at front desk prior to entering the studio. Please remove your shoes before entering the room and place them on the bench provided for this purpose. There is a coat closet in the room for your personal belongings. MAKE-UPS - If you miss a yoga class, you may make it up in any other yoga class within the current session. Classes cancelled due to inclement weather or low attendance will be rescheduled.

DROP-INS - A drop-in is a student not currently registered, wishing to take a single class. Drop-ins are permitted only if space is available, so please call first.

CANCELLATION POLICY - Refund of fee minus $10 administrative cost if cancelled less than 5 business days of start of class.

EXPIRATION POLICY – If registered for under 5 classes expiration is 30 days from 1st class If registered for 5-10 classes expiration is 60 days from 1st class

REFUND POLICY - Fees are non refundable and non transferable.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Beginning or Level 1 Yoga
Yoga classes are designed for students with little or no yoga experience. Postures and breathing techniques are broken down and taught using an eclectic blend of various traditions. In these classes, students are provided the basic tools needed to begin a yoga and meditation practice. Students will also begin the journey of truly listening to their bodies, feeling how yoga fits into their bodies, and understanding how yoga will fit into their lives. Learn how to bring ease and balance into your life with Yoga. Discover how your body likes to move by incorporating stretching, yoga postures and breathing techniques to facilitate stress release.

NO EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED. Students will benefit from individual attention because of small class size.

Wear loose comfortable clothing and refrain from eating at least two hours prior to class.

Please arrive 15 minutes before your first class. This will give you time to sign in, fill out a health questionnaire, and stretch and warm up for your practice.

Your First Class is FREE when you sign up for a yoga package. Fee is thirteen ($13) a class for students and seniors only. We are happy to lend you a mat at no charge, or you may purchase one at the store. Class size is limited to eight persons.

T’ai Chi

Promotes relaxation and balance by combining breath control with graceful, continuous movements. T’ai Chi increases flexibility and alleviates stress and tension by teaching practitioners how to control their energy flow. The unique combination of postures can reduce stress and prevent stress related diseases. It can have profound effects on the heart, bones, muscles and nervous system. T’ai Chi is easy to learn and helps the student to gently stretch and turn to relax the points of tension in the body. T’ai Chi forms are appropriate for all age groups and can help to improve the student’s mental as well as physical health.

*Weather permitting, classes may be held outside.

T’ai Chi Fees: $120/session for 10 week class
$15 a session for Drop-Ins

Bellydancing
Cardio exercise which increases flexibility and enhances body image and self-esteem. Dancing is an excellent form of exercise that tones muscles, improves posture and helps develop poise and grace while helping you to relax from the tensions of everyday life. Express your inner feelings by experiencing the universal joy of dance.

Bellydancing Fees: $60 for 6 week session
$12 a session for Drop-ins
